This morning I decided to make an egg, but scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, and omletes were getting a little bit boring. So, I thought I would make my own recipe. Here's how it turned out. Hope you enjoy! You will need:
Start by whisking your eggs in a small bowl. I prefer to use a small rice bowl, as this makes a nice mold for the egg. Since it is a microwave egg, remember that the egg will take the shape of the container. Sprinkle a small handful of cheese (shredded works best) into the egg. Then, spinkle with garlic powder and garlic salt, as desired (about 1/8 tsp each). Cut a thin sliver of butter to make the egg more creamy. Finally, add in your diced vegetables. Stir so that spices are even throughout. Microwave for about 40 seconds to a minute. Meanwhile, toast a slice of your choice of bread. Once the bread is toasted, arrange spinach leaves on top. The egg should be cooked through by now. Keeping the egg whole, scoop it out of your bowl and place on top of the bed of spinach. Bon appetit!
